One Month Left

magharabiYes, you read it. One month left before the big day, and there's still so much to do. Getting announcements out has been a real pain in the tuchus, and then some. I'm expecting a lot to come back because for whatever reason my mom printed out the peoples addresses even when they were incomplete. Right, cuz having a written in city on your nicely printed address looks so very nice. Grr. So there's some expense we really couldn't afford. And I'm going to end up having like a million and one showers. I can't even remember when all of mine are, and my mom is on my case about showers for other people in the valley and some cousins I never see? Honestly, who does she think I am? I can hardly remember what I had for dinner last night, let alone stuff like dates and times. Dan said that usually there's a "momzilla" involved in the wedding, and that as far as momzillas go, my mom is a lower level momzilla. It's still driving me insane.
Speaking of driving. For the next two weeks I can't. We were hoping that when Dan went down to his training in riverdale that they'd get him a hotel room close enough to the store that he could walk, meaning I would have the car for the next two weeks. Yeah, not so much. So now I'm without a car for the next two weeks and I get to try and run around town seeking florists and finishing up the announcement stuff. Right. I'm gonna be pooped. Plus I wanted to try and get the apartment a little bit cleaned up, too, so we'll see how that goes. I also need to start packing, seeing as how that's one of the things I despise most and therefore it will probably take me well over a month to get done.

At least I won't be bored, right?
