I want to make a journal dedicated to my icons (of which I will someday eventually post more. I've gotten better, amazingly enough), as well as other digital projects as they come along. Problem is, I can't think of a suitable name. So far the best I can come up with is braingoo, which fulfills my desire for something random, memorable, and evocative. But I think it evokes the wrong emotion. I see green goo coming out of someone's ears and eyes, and that's not a pretty picture. I'm looking for something a bit... prettier? Funner sounding?
Help?
Edit: UPDATE!!!
Here are a few of the available options I've randomly pulled out of those weird corners of my mind, and a little bit about the psychology behind them.
glittergloo- It's kind of whimsical and childlike. You know, when we were kids and the coolest thing EVER was the sparkly glitter glue we sometimes got to use for crafts and such? But it's got the creative spelling thing going on, too, which shows that I'm either totally hip or completely cliche (and I'll admit readily to both).
wonderlanderful- It's kinda fun to say. And it's a mix between wonderland, and wonderful. Will cause dyslexic fits.
michiycha- Yeah, no one will get this one unless they're from Peru or Bolivia. It's basically "neko-chan", but in Quechua. (My precious) Little Cat. (Guess who came to lay on my hands at that moment? >.>)
yachay_sumaq- More Quechua because they have the prettiest language. Too bad so few people have actually ever heard of it. This means "beautiful knowledge". Hard to spell, though. A little too gutteral.
chaskaloca- This one amuses me, because it's a mix of Spanish and Quechua. It means "crazy star". I was thinking of a One Piece opener (my favorite to date) when I came up with it. Too bad "rainbow" is an awkward word in both Spanish and Quechua.
cosmicdew- A shoutout to one of my favorite movies, Kung-Fu Panda. It is said that the Dragon Warrior can live for months on the dew of a single ginko leaf, and the energy of the universe. Like Po, my brain translates that to something much shorter... and less physically filling. It's still a pretty name, though.
dusk_to_day- This one actually stems from my longest standing internet handle- and pretty much my online identity- magharabi. Magharabi is actually a misspelling of the Swahili word magharibi, which means "dusk" or "twilight". It's that tricky, sometimes magical time of day when it isn't quite night yet, but it certainly isn't broad daylight. I think of warm colored sunsets and cool breezes. Strangely enough, it's my favorite time of day to play softball (inorite? wtf?). And the "to day" part is important, because it's like, a follow-through. Not just until dawn, but until the sun is completely out and bright and happy. Not only has life managed to make it through the dark hours, but has continued on into the light. Anyway.
fireflys_dream- This one is just kinda... Ok, so I had Owl City in my head, and "sockhop_beneath_my_bed" is way too long. It's still cute. And will cause heaven only knows how many impressionable youth to forever spell the bugs' plural form incorrectly. I'm a horrible, subtly mischievous person, what can I say?
Aaaaaanyway. Which is your favorite, and which best represents me, in your mind?
Help?
