Well, for those of you who haven't seen me in awhile, I am alive. Just balancing work and a boyfriend who actually likes dating me. This weekend is gonna be fun, my hometown is having their annual 24th of July celebration (early, yes I know) and teh boy was able to get work off for saturday and sunday! I am so excited. Anyway, details are thus: Friday night, steak fry and country dance. Saturday morning, mini parade, flag raising ceremony, random variety show like thing. Saturday daytime, random games, food, and contests. Saturday night, 100% hometown rodeo. Muttin bustin' and chicken chases galore. Sunday, everyone goes to church, goes home, takes a nap, then heads back to wherever they are from. Everyone is invited. Bring a sleeping bag and hygienic toiletries (i.e. toothbrush, shampoo, etc). We'll be sleeping out on the trampoline or in tents on my front yard- basically like camping at a campground. Let me know if you are interested in coming and I'll get you directions, times, etc. And please let me know before Friday, because my mom needs to know how many people to expect. She's fussy that way.

Bad News!

Ack!!!!! Congrats on teh boy and everything, but I have bad news. I HAVE to work on my house this weekend to get ready for you to move in, and apparently ALL my uncles are coming next week to visit and my mom needs help for that. All, which hasn't hapened in like 20 years. I was so looking 4ward to teh campout for over a month but don't see how I can possibly go and get everything done that needs to be. *sobs* It hasn't been the bestest of weeks, and this is the icing on top. Will be at Melissa's 2nite if you want to talk about it; my cell is not handy but I will get it ASAP. Hope you get this in time to let your mom know!!! I was so looking 4ward to meeting your fam and seeing where you live, blast.

Oh sad. I got your text at like, 2:30 last night. I'll give you a call l8r today. Can I maybe come and help? We don't need to be leaving until early afternoon. Dan actually managed to get the whole weekend off, but didn't know it until late last night. Anyway. It's cool that you get to see your uncles, all of them, though. Also, if you need a bit more time, things have calmed down a lot here so I could stay for another month. I don't want you totally freaking out on my behalf. I will give you a call a bit later on when I'm more sure that I wouldn't get yelled at for calling early in the morning, and i'll come by a little after that, k?
